Two wounded in shooting at Avery Trace Apartments

Sunday, Oct. 2, about 1 a.m., Port Arthur Police Department responded to a call regarding shots fired at the Avery Trace Apartments on FM 365.

PAPD reports that the suspect fired into a crowd near the complex parking lot, wounding two people. Seven vehicles were also damaged during the shooting.

The victims were transported to the Southeast Texas Medical Center and released with minor injuries.

The suspect remains at large.
