Lone Survivor Foundation’s third annual Golf Tournament and Fundraiser at the Brentwood Entertainment Complex in Beaumont raised $22,000 for recovering veterans and their rehabilitation facility in Crystal Beach on Oct. 7, according to Brenda Jenkins, administrator at Brent Coon and Associates (BCA), one of the main sponsors for the event.
Other sponsors included iHeart Media and Pate Resources Group.
The fundraiser “benefits returning veterans with traumatic brain injuries or PTSD,” Jenkins explained, as the Lone Survivor retreat facility offers five-day retreats to veterans and families, hosted by therapists where EAG-ALA equine therapy, fishing and other activities are offered to guests for free.
