Beaumont police are investigating a body found inside a large exhaust fan at the Beaumont Rice Mills.
Beaumont Rice Mills is located in the 1800 block of Pecos Road near MLK Boulevard and Calder Avenue.
Detectives were called out to the scene and the “investigation is ongoing,” according to a news release from Beaumont Police.
Beaumont Police spokesperson Officer Haley Morrow said in the statement that “information was limited at this time,” but the body is an unidentified male.
The body was transported to the Jefferson County Morgue for autopsy. Tips or further information should be directed to Beaumont Police at (409) 832-1234.
