Sounds of Sharing: Beaumont library hosts fifth annual concert

The R.C. Miller Memorial Library hosted its fifth annual “Sounds of Sharing” program Thursday, Nov. 17.

“The Sounds of Sharing” included pieces from flutists Erin Murphy and Jennifer Shannon and harpists Charlotte Mizener and Rachel Clark, as well as the Lamar University Flute Ensemble, comprised of musicians Brooke Allen, Laura Brown, Connie Cormier, Laura Costanza, Kassie Lindamood, Alicia Marshall, Katie Martinez, Kevin Melendez and Tiffany Ruizo.

The program included seasonal classics such as “We Gather Together” and “Jingle Bells,” as well as classical pieces like “Clair de Lune” and two Gaelic pieces.
