Community Christian School wins Orange Chamber awards

A teacher and a student at Community Christian School in Orange were recently nominated for awards from the Orange Chamber of Commerce.

Ronnie Lee, high school teacher at Community Christian School, was recognized in November as Employee of the Month by the Orange Chamber of Commerce.

Lee has dedicated 17 post-retirement years to teaching upper level math and science, including dual credit courses through Lamar State College in Orange. He also celebrated his 80th birthday in November.

CCS senior Joshua Howard received the Orange Chamber of Commerce Student of the Month award for his outstanding academic achievements and community service.
