A Hardin-Jefferson ISD school bus crashed into a telephone pole on Old Sour Lake Road Tuesday morning.
Troopers at the scene reported the school bus driver was turning right onto Patna Drive from Old Sour Lake Road, but lost control of the bus and hit a telephone pole around 7:15 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29, Texas DPS said in a news release.
Four children between 9 to 14 years old were on the bus along with the driver when the accident happened, but no one was injured. First responders checked all of the occupants on the school bus for injures.
Texas DPS troopers issued the school bus driver a citation for driving at an unsafe speed.
