The Little Cypress-Mauriceville High School Jazz Band is hosting a silent auction and dinner Tuesday night.

“Silent Night, Jazzy Night” will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m, Tuesday, Dec. 20 at the First Baptist Church of Mauriceville, located at 11540 Highway 12.

Tickets for the event are $20 per person and must be purchased in advance.

“Enjoy a delicious dinner of lasagna or chicken fettuccini while the jazz band entertains you with Christmas tunes,” LCM CISD Community Relations Coordinator Sherry Combs said in a statement. “Take a break from the holiday stress and let the band boosters feed you while the jazz band entertains you!”

Attendees can also participate in a silent auction throughout the night. The silent auction features items donated or made by band parents and families.

Tickets can be purchased on each campus from Little Cypress Elementary (contact Kayla Casey), Little Cypress Intermediate School (contact Nancy Blanchard), Little Cypress Junior High (contact Rhonda Martin), Little Cypress Mauriceville High School (contact Nikki Hanson), Mauriceville Elementary School (contact Cindy Childress), and Mauriceville Middle School (contact Emily Collier).
