The Beaumont Main Library’s 10-cent book sale, offering hundreds of titles, will be on Friday, April 28 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday, April 29 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The book sale is only open to library members on Friday, but signups are encouraged at the door. Everyone is welcome on Saturday.
All proceeds go to fund the Beaumont Public Library system, the library said in a news release.
Friends of the Library communications director Marilyn Manson-Hayes said she invites anyone who has not visited the main library since the reopening on March 28 to visit the “beautiful new space” during the booksale.
Anyone interested in volunteering to set up or run the booksale should send an email to mmanson@gt.rr.com listing the times you would like to work setting up the sale.
Bring a friend or scout troup to help. Set up times will be on April 27 and 28.
“Tell your friends and plan to renew your membership, Manson-Hayes said. “Beaumonters are readers!”
