Kroger and The Little Clinic have deployed board-certified nurse practitioners to Beaumont to provide free healthcare services to residents in the wake of the aftermath of Tropical Storm Harvey.
Nurse practitioners at Kroger at 3965 Dowlen Boulevard can treat minor health issues like abrasions, skin infections, sprains and strains, respiratory illnesses, dehydration, stress, anxiety and more, Kroger said in a news release. These providers also have the ability to assist patients with chronic conditions like hypertension and diabetes and can refill prescriptions for most medications.
The Little Clinic practitioners are set up in the Kroger Pharmacy consultation areas from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and no appointment is necessary, the company said. These nurse practitioners are available to see patients Monday to Saturday, and the services are completely free.
