At least 15 businesses have been vandalized in Silsbee, police said in a community alert.

Silsbee Police officers took a report of criminal mischief Monday, Dec. 11 at the Twisted Chandelier Boutique located on North Fourth Street.

Police said they believe that someone used what appears to be an “airsoft” pellet weapon of some sort at close range, causing the window to burst.

But officers patrolled the area and noted damage to several other businesses throughout the city, all having appeared to be caused by similar weapons and possibly the same person or persons.

Silsbee Police asks that anyone with information concerning these incidents to contact the Silsbee Police Department at (409) 385-3714.
