The Beaumont Police Department has announced that Sergeant Al Johnson has retired, after proudly serving the residents of Beaumont for 37 years.
He was a member of the Beaumont Police Department’s SWAT Team for 35 years
and is widely known as K9 Liz’s handler, Beaumont Police said in a post on Facebook.
“Thank you, Sgt. Johnson, for your dedication to service and the many sacrifices you’ve made over the last 37 years! You will be missed!” the department said in the Facebook post.
