Nederland’s 2018 Trash Bash is Saturday, March 3 from 8:30-11:30 a.m.
The City of Nederland said they are encouraging both individuals and teams to join hands in cleaning up Nederland’s parks and neighborhoods.
Participants who register for the event before Monday, Feb. 12, will receive a free t-shirt. Everyone who participates is invited to a light lunch following the cleanup event.

David Oates with the Texas A&M Agrilife Extension Service and the Jefferson County Master Gardeners Association recently helped plant tulip bulbs down Boston Avenue in Nederland.
The City of Nederland said it appreciates the time and talent the gardeners offered the
community, and that the tulips will be up in spring.
